What a great series and finally a series that knows how to write a great and satisfying ending. It's been half an hour and I'm just catching my breath. New bad@$$ rankings: 1) Jack Bauer 2) Lee Marvin 3) Kevin Jenkins . . . 192) Chuck Norris
Series was good... Well up til this season at least.....i wasn't a big fan of this fianl season, I think it was that stupid Lady Playing the Prez that i just couldn't stand her at all.... Ending was eehhh....Wouldn't say it was the best way they could of closed the show Out. But it was Ok
24 has been very good to great for 8 seasons and the final was awesome. Now Jacks on the run and has nothing to lose. Jack with nothing to lose is the best Jack there can be. The predator camera shot at the end was cool, the conversation with Chloe was perfect. The movie: Dont even let Freddie Prince Jr in a theater to watch the movie let alone star in it. Also I forget his name, but the guy who helped Jack in the last three episodes is a great actor and he should be in the movie.
I've always been a huge fan of this series but I got to admit I was getting so tired of the same old, same old conflict between him and the government that always wound up turning to him for answers, action and results. On the final season, it was ok and I agree this POTUS was one of the more annoying ones in the shows history. I think Palmer was my fav....lol. From what I heard, the movie will bring back Almeida as his arch nemesis and I wouldnt count out FPJR making the big show. I, too, would like to see that other actor (past 3 episodes) in the movie, that guy always played a decent bad guy role. I cant believe two of my all time fav shows are now over, I barely watch tv as is....guess I'll be watching even less in the future, I dont see any new shows that interest me........except for that one hot British ??? chic who's a vampire......might have to give that a try. LOL! FWIW- I still maintain that FlashForward is one of the better new series that has some potential.
Flashfoward is great but its just you and I who watch it, I guess, its been cancelled. Maybe the "3 episode actor" should tortured Freddie Prince Jr like he tortured that cop in Resevoir Dogs. Michael Madsen is the 3 episode guys name, I just checked. Apparently he just got off an 8 day drinking binge so it seems rehab is in his future.
Michael Madsen has been a wreck for a number of years, but for some reason I've always liked his work. I think him and Tom Sizemore started free falling about the same time.
Madsen, Sizemore, and Southerland are all hard drinkers I say put all three of them in because they all play angry and crazy reall well. Although the movie may not get made on time cause they'll be shloshed.
24 was good for about four seasons. Nothing new since. Unfortunately, I'm not a quitter and by the time it got to that point, I was hooked. So I had to see it through. The ending was entirely predictable.
Mr. Blonde? I was hoping for a darker ending and a little more killing in the final 2 hours (Jack Bauer with zero kills? lame..) but I guess they had to leave it open for the movies. Actually with all the ear-related injuries recently on 24, maybe Mr. Blonde had some influence on the writing for the show.
Nice! In the latest episode of Castle, Tony Almeda (I don't even know the actor's real name) was making a guest appearance as part of the government working with the precinct. When the guys asked him where he worked before, one of the places was the "Central Terrorism Unit". I thought that was well-played. Now if they could bring back Palmer, that'd be something.
