2025 WERA Contingency Programs/Info

So far this year WERA has set up and confirmed the following programs for contingency:
• Bridgestone
• Honda
• BMW
• Kawasaki

We are also working on others but will not be releasing information until everything is finalized.

Bridgestone requirements are the same. Any riders seeking Bridgestone contingency will need to fill out a Bridgestone PTSC form and turn it in to tech at the event. The PTSC forms can either be picked up in registration, or you can print a copy from our website (forms tab). This year PTSC has agreed to pay out up to $541,750.00 to eligible riders.

Honda requirements are mostly the same - however they are running their contingency through a new program. In total Honda has agreed to pay up to $157,750.00 to eligible riders. Honda does require riders to sign up for their contingency program before the season starts. I am working with the BMW rep regarding amounts and procedures for the upcoming year. While I know they will be paying out, we have not worked out the amount of money or requirements for this year's program. I will update this post as well as the main site as things solidify.

I have not received any correspondence indicating a change for eligibility or procedures for 2025 Kawasaki contingency. In total Kawasaki has agreed to pay up to $144,600.00 to eligible riders. Yamaha has unfortunately dropped our program in 2025 due to budget restrictions on their end.

Like I stated above we are seeking out new avenues for contingency and working on renewing other contingencies not listed above. I will update this post as more information is made available.
