How many people plan on going for the title this year. Just finished up another back surgery the old age of 30. So i won’t be out that unfortunately

I hear ya! Last season I wanted to be my personal comeback after a very busy 4 year hiatus. With kids all grown now, I figured I was going to do a full season in V7. Went to tally for my first time kinda nervous from the extended time off, but flipped the visor down and it all rushed back to me like it was only 4 weeks off. Took 2nd in both the Saturday v7 sprints, but unfortunately had to leave that evening. Then just before Cycle jam I find out I need a stent put in, so cancelled that weekend……..only to end up on blood thinners till October. I thought the meds were cleared out by the GNF, but while I was there it started dawning on me that I was still far more brain foggy than I had realized……so the meds were still messing with me just enough. Thank gawd I had a mechanical right at 3rd call, because looking back I had no business being out there. I’ve since done a cornerspin weekend to whip me into better shape, and LOTS of dirtbike cardio flat racking twice a week also to keep me clear. Man, there’s so many more times injuries and surgeries have messed up racing or just living in general for me……….anyhow I’ve got a damn nice V8 bike just never raced it

That was some fun racing…. I almost did the entire season last year but due to budgetary reasons I had to skip a round… I was still able to grab 2 V7 HW championships and 2 V7 however this year will be different… planning on Cycle Jam but the rest is TBD…

I sold my V8HW bike last year.

    But in 2 years my 2015 R1 will be a V8HW bike...

I'll probably chase the V7 Heavyweight Championship sprinkle in with a few V8 races

It’s still crazy that will be considered vintage I’m debating to hold onto my 17 for that reason. Just put more seat time on it.

I can change it to 20 years if it'll help you feel better about being old :D
