Unless Eli comes out to play at Salt Lake City the 450's there are sure to be to be a snooze-fest. JC will be working hard to get his first 450 win. East 250's will be a bit interesting with it being an E-W showdown to confuse the math.
Well he is faster than everyone at home right now, the championship does not always go to the fastest on the day, it goes to the fastest all year
Yep, the takeouts in SX and MX have been an adjustment for me to watch as well. It's quite different from road racing etiquette.
The pass wasn’t that bad. RV, RC, Stew, Chiz and other pros had no issue with it besides it being his teammate. I agree with them. Growing up racing MX you knew to never leave the door open. Especially when you know the rider behind you has the tendency to punt people. The easiest way to fix the little shit is punt him back. Davies definitely gained a ton of new fans and I’d love to see him repay him this weekend or maybe in outdoor The interview afterwards was shit, really makes me wish I could race him and punt him every chance lol.
My prediction is Deegan will be the next BAM BAM, he will just run around out there smashing into people and never really win a bunch of 450 stuff
overall the pass wasn't that bad but more what you would expect of the 4th/5th place riders in the LCQ or with a championship on the line, not when you are 24 points ahead of your teammate and punt him off the track. No reason to do it then and there and in that manner. but not a fan of the podium, and attitude. Next race will be interesting, plus the outdoors.
A blatant takeout move like that in any serious racing series would have been penalized. That move only makes sense if you think of Supercross as a circus, like WWF or monster trucks, or NASCAR, and not serious racing. I don’t think of it that way and thus I didn’t like it.
Cole Davies pulled up on a rhythm section and Jordie Smith landed on him in practice. Smith got up on his own but the medical team removed Davies and transferred him to the hospital with an arm injury.
That was a horrible impact to watch happen. I have wondered when something like this was going to happen in qualifying. Jordan was committed to his jump line. I hate it happened to them both.
