once you win one you start to feel it. plus some of the other contenders are out.

I am still holding out for AP7 to get another win one of these days or even be a contender for the podium, but haven't seen the same form this year.

 

AP7, much like Malcolm and a few others are blindingly fast, but just seem to lack that killer instinct to push it to the front on a regular basis, IMO.

Having said that, he's a local guy and I root for him as hard as anyone does. His whole family is just awesome and really, really down to earth too.

and Karmas a bitch for Anderson! Rode Sexton dirty,but got it back all by himself crashing last lap!

 

That really sucked for Max Anstie. less than 10 seconds to go and a lap, with a 7 plus second lead, and they red flag the race. Then instead of invoking the 90% race rule and ending it, they opt for a green, white, checker, ala napcar, and he damn near finished 3rd. I feel like that was the AMA playing with the outcome of the race. I feel really bad for Max, that was his. Ski

 

Yep!! AMA,(ass) openly admitted they had never restarted one that late. Who wouldn't let it all hang out for 2 or 3 lap sprint? Its happened in all forms of racing. Give them a chance, and all bets are off for craziness. It should be the line from now on then, not whatever the hell they make up as they go along.

 

KAWI Pays them AMA more than Yamaha? That 250 ending was a joke at best. They waiting multiple laps to then throw the red flag with 7 seconds and then do a 3 lap restart.....Totally DUMB

 

Watching Webb stalk Kenny was fun.

 

They changed the restart rule between '24 and '25.
They followed the new rules to a tee, but they need further amendment to give the gaps back to the top five, anyway.

 

Great racing last night! I feel bad for McAdoo though.

I hope Star and Yamaha compensate Max appropriately for his great ride.

 

Just my unwanted/biased 2 cents,but ..restart,have one of those digital line markers, and give the leader whatever gap they had.Who-evs gets around him has to grab that gap of a lead. Kinda like some road racing series.
I feel bad, because some of these wins helps define sponsorship, and a whole shit load of things for sponsors, and future's ..Kinda like..say a guy's leading the Daytona 200 comes to mind.. It may have been this guys one and only chance to win the 200 possibly?? And some asshole turns right into him,takes him out,
and this poor guy had that taken from him by a dirty rider, and no penalty from said dirty rider!! This could have changed that riders career somewhat for the better, but we will never know.. Anyhoo,just an example that comes to mind!

All I am going to say is.....They waited at least one lap, I think I am 99 percent sure it was at least 2 laps to throw the red flag with 7 seconds left? Seems like they either waited to long to throw that thing or hurried up to do it...Just saying the timing is weird

Chase doing Chase things. That last sprint race for the 450s was pretty awesome to watch, as a spectator and fan. Ski
