Is anyone on the east coast able to tune these? I ran them on the dyno today, and would like to see why ones AFR is different than the other with the same tunes? nothing critical, but wanna make sure before we put these on a mile straight at Cota.
Got it sorted with an easy call to Krämer. Honestly should have done that to start but as with everything else, we had help within an hour.
I'm hearing about a few bikes pushing oil up the crank vent into the airbox. Even with reduced oil levels. Let's hope they get it sorted...
We’re still talking internally about it, but I think we’ll 3D print a labyrinth oil breather housing.

Just make sure the chosen material works at the installed environment temperature. Don’t let a fix turn into a new issue without some understanding of requirements (thermal) and some testing. Rooting for you guys!!!
Have you missed the various discussions about laps completed at Cresson and by now at Hallett? Minor teething issues from running a single at high rpm's.
I'm all for airing things out in the open and telling it like it is. A perfect example was when Attack got busted with funny fuel and Stanboli tried to say it was out of specs from being an older batch. MA came right back at him and laid it out in public that the sample was out of spec regardless of what batch he said his fuel came from. If Kramer wants to make a statement saying no teams were getting special parts then fine. If they want to call somebody out for making bogus statements that's great. I just don't think it's wise to jump on the beeb and mention civil action against a customer just because they're talking bullshit.
Do we know how we're going to be able to watch this weekend's Talent Cup? Will it be on MA Live+ or on the Motogp Videopass? Do we know what sessions?
Well... if you got to MA Live+'s site... the front page is a full screen advertisement for the Talent Cup at MotoGP, my assumption is it'll be on there.
COTA is 4 days away and they're talking about designing and printing a labyrinth breather valve. Not much time to test and see if it works. Bikes puking oil on the world stage doesn't sound like a minor teething issue to me, especially if it doesn't work and we end up with a bunch of kids tossing it down the road on oiled rear tires... And yes I've seen a bike with oil all over the rear swingarm after a 20 minute track session.
I am pretty sure an oil separator breather valve for a 4 stroke single isn't rocket science nor a new concept. My 1979 XL500S had one stock. It seems to me that you are being pretty much a negative Nelly in this whole thread, is there a back story between you and Kramer/KTM that we don't know about? Generally, your input regarding Twins Cup and such has been informative and unbiased. That doesn't seem to be the case here.
