Pre entry will open at 2pm this afternoon so here are some links for info -

    Schedule - https://www.wera.com/pdfs/eventschedule/vmd2025schedule.pdf

Event specific rules/regs and info - https://www.wera.com/pdfs/2025 VMD RR Meet Guidelines.pdf

Note that not all classes run at this event.

Some changes from 2024 - added the MA Talent Cup, had to sadly remove the sidecars for now, added 400/E Superstock, removed HW Twins SS. So give and take but should still be plenty of racing options for everyone.

Pre entry form for those who do paper - https://www.wera.com/pdfs/forms/VMDEntry2025.pdf

    Pre entry instructions - https://www.wera.com/pdfs/vmdinstructions2025.pdf

Couple of important things in the Meet Guidelines you may want to check out - first the ticket sales link, cheaper than at the gate and you will need a ticket to get in - you do NOT need to pay for camping if you're in the paddock (you have to be entered to race to be in the paddock obviously). There's also a link to an online release you can sign which will make things easier.

As with the last couple of years if you pre enter you can get it before 5pm Thursday with the email we will send out the week of the event.

I'll add more as I think of it...

I don't see F3 on the schedule. Is that one of the classes that has been removed this year?

Yep, swapped to the 400 class.

So 125GP bikes would only be legal for F2 this year?

    And HW Twins.

Well that sucks. I'm sure you have reasons for replacing F3 with the 400 class, but it's a bit disappointing that the class for bikes that haven't been in production for 20 years is replaced by a class for bikes you can buy off the showroom floor at a vintage event.

Still tons of classes for many many vintage bikes, even classes for the 125 gp machinery to go play. Only thing missing will be a championship plate with no real competition for them.

Yeah I know it's not polite or nice but it's quite simply what has happened for way too many years with the class. 5 total 125's last year, 2 expert and 3 novice - and 14 400 class bikes. The one other machine was Ian on his 250 which is also newer.

Are both day national points or just Sunday?

Both pay North Central and National - I actually got it right on the schedule putting the DH after it :D

Like I said I understand you have your reasons. Looking through the day 2 results from last year though, it looks like 6 or 7 entries is the average for vintage classes if you exclude V8 HW. It's a shame you couldn't add a vintage class for the later 125s and add it to another race. FWIW, the 3 in the novice class are far from novice racers.

I'll see if I can find a spot but no promises.

Interesting to see 'LRRS' in the list of recognized orgs, it ceased to exist a few years ago and now operates as NEMRR.

Martin Lewis Can we go back to the track already?

So I can enter from 7am to 7pm on Thursday, but then the gate is open 24/7. Does that mean if I don't there there until 10pm, I've got to wait until Friday morning to move in?

We would certainly appreciate it if you can figure out a way to make it happen. Allowing NSFs would be cool tool.

F2 usually isn't too bad for the guys at the pointy end, but mid pack and back it can get a bit sketchy with SVs passing on the straights just to park it in the corners. HW Twins would have similar issues, possibly worse, but with the added bonus of 50+ MPH speed difference on the back straight. Hopefully you can find a place to squeeze us in.

If you’re competing in talent cup. Do you know if you compete in other classes that weekend and if so what classes will that bike be legal. Also, if we entered the whole season in moto a. Do we pay and entry fees to get in? Thanks.

Wow no F3??? A 125 isn't competitive with an SV650. Bring back F3 please. Has me 2nd guessing Cycle Jam, VMD and GNF. Bring F3 back and just make it all one skill level.Novice and expert combined, awards for the class only not the skill level.

Looking at results from last year, Race 3 with V5 and V3 had a relatively small grid size and the bikes would be fairly compatible with GP bikes. Race 10 with V4, V6 LW, and Formula 2 Stroke may work too.
