So my version of a 996 is coming along
Finally got my delivery of Carbon from China in (only 9 months to make it)
It fits sort of but it was inexpensive

Just fairings and a battery then it might actually be ready for a run out and some testing

 

I have a 1989 ZX10 that I'm kicking around for some endurance racing. Anyone have a line on FCR 39mm carbs and after market cams, extra body work and fuel tank?

 

just bought a yzf750 with an fzr 1000 motor. Unfortunately the motor is blown , any body got a line on a '92/'93 ish fzr 1000 motor?

Finally made some progress on the Oiler 7/11 project:

(1) fresh ‘91 750 USD forks installed, new bearings etc.
(2) Fox shock and ACC Billet Engineering replica lower Link and adjustable upper mount installed.

 

Anyone know if the FZR750R is required to have hard case covers???

 

looks great. Mine is in similar state. I've just scored an old SPF braced arm that's going on soon!

Hope to make several events this year. Will be sporting the same f3 as always with a little different boogie in her. Gonna bump up to either 7hw and 8mw. Depends on the weekend and who's there.

 

So fairings for the Ducati arrived and actually fit pretty well without the normal yelling and screaming I enjoy so much

Some new parts from Ducati for airbox seals etc to get
Then cut down the loom to remove the street requirements
Lockwire to work out, not sure how to get some of the bolts lockwired as they all recessed

Other than paint I think it is almost track ready
Gotta come up with a non red paint or wrap scheme, current front running design is BSB Red Bull
Leaning towards a wrap rather than paint - anyone know a good wrap guy in LA?

Looking really good. Too clean for me.

 

Got the V6/Next Gen Chassis back from welder today. He fabbed up mount tabs to allow use of SRAD subframe and GSXRR tail. A little more progress.

Motor is done, suspension is done also. Gonna have frame, subframe, and swingarm powder coated and then start assembly.

 

How do you plan to haul 5 bikes to the track next year?
