Please don't suggest that.

Your trailer puts 1,225 lbs on the tongue bone dry with no cargo. Even with a proper WDH, I don't know of any half-ton that can safely tow that trailer........no matter what the RV salesman told you.

I pulled it with a Nissan Titan a few times. The motor pulled it fine but just needed the rear end to be level.
I'm not a sales person just speaking from experience.

 

F150 Max tow has a payload that's 3000 lb plus and a tow capacity nearly 14k lbs. There's quite a few F150 versions that have tow and payload capacities well within range of this trailer's GVWR.

This is a nice trailer btw. Not too many 30 ft campers out there that offer a slide that are under 8k lbs.

 

At least some one knows whats going on.
