2017 gsxr 1000 non abs $12000, in Maryland

Cash only, pickup only. Ultra clean because it never got dirty- 15 miles on ODO.

I had accomplished all I could hope to in middleweight racing and considered myself retired when I saw that the revised gsxr1000 was a good economical way to change things up. I bought this from a dealership and started setting it up for the track "my way" now that I finally had a clean zero-history bike. Punkass chinavirus fucked everything up and I never really got the fire back. I could go either way with using or selling this bike, so if someone wants it at this price, here it is. Otherwise I'll eventually go be the old man in the slow group.

The bodywork and street paint are slightly different shades of red, which bothered me, so I sprayed a coat of plastidip onto the gas tank. That should peel off cleanly when not desired.

The bike passed MARRC tech in 2020, but it never actually went onto track because I wanted to begin the day on a familiar bike (r6), and the silly SOBs were crashing so often that I never even got myself warmed up on that. So the 1000 went back in the trailer unused and that was it. Gets periodically run up to temperature on periodically refreshed gas.

Forgot to mention it comes with pitbull front and rear stands, and trailer restraint system (minus floor plate).

 

Why oh why do you have to be all the way across the country? I would snap that up in a heartbeat.
