2-stroke track bike rebuild

I reached out to them, they are indeed making this kit, BUT its $5900 CAD which is roughly $4100 USD....OUCH!!!

Molds for castings are NOT cheap, there is then a decent amount of post processing machining after, for something that will never sell in high volume. There is also the time to R&D the whole setup prior to pulling the trigger on the mold...

 

I hear ya, and I agree, it ain't cheap to offer this for the CR500 motors. It just doesn't fit my budget for a bike I will ride a few times a year....

Haha, very cool! I showed this to my engine builder and he called it “backyard balancer” which I thought was very funny.

I’m just looking to make it as rideable as possible without going over board on the motor.
We will see once I have more updates….

 

Motor coming along nicely, should be back on the bike soon…
