what kind of oil goes into a cr 80

    is it 2 stroke oil or is it gear oil or both

    Isn't XR's 4 strokes, and CR's 2 strokes, so I think you have regular oil in trans and mixed (gas/2stroke oil) in tank :confused:

    I've used Mobil 1 15/50 in the gearbox and Maxima 927 pre-mix oil in the fuel tank of small 2 strokes with great results.

    Use a motorcycle gear oil, Honda HP trans oil 80/85w, or Bel Ray Gear Saver 75w, ect

    Hey T,
    you need two stroke oil to mix with the gas like belray mc-1+.
