Eh, its Spain we're talking about here. They don't have much to cheer for, so they'll take pretty much anything.

 

Not much to cheer for or not, they freakin' show up to the races.....

Truth! Looks like we'll see a lot of gray hair in the paddock by the end of the season!

 

We need a pool on which round Tardozzi leaves the garage on a stretcher. I don't think he'll return from the fall overseas rounds.

 

They have a couple of dozen riders from moto3 to MotoGP to cheer for. They cheered louder for Marc than the championship leader.

 

The old guys get more love. I'm sure Rossi converted a few fans as his career was nearing the end.

 

I was asking myself the same thing as I watched. It seems to be pretty common lately that many don't even try to keep going.

 

Mladdin made a post about this after Portimao basically calling Bagnaia a bitch for just walking away from his bike where Marc was back on his and gone.

But I thought everyone said attendance would drop significantly when Rossi retired...

 

I said that.

But I didn't predict MM busting himself up, taking 3 years to heal, then coming back thru the pack like a bull in a china shop.

Anyway, MotoGP is a freaking awesome spectacle and I'm glad to see the record numbers

 

Until they had to issue a press release apologizing for over inflating the numbers
