To be fair, given the state of Boeing quality control, praying might be the most appropriate response. Maybe if they started by praying, God would’ve had more time to respond. They shouldn’t have waited so long
No, they don’t, they have to be reminded about that, that’s the scary part. The garbage of pilots that’s being produced in school houses around the country should be a serious concern to everyone flying on US airlines.
Boeing and the Dark Age of American Manufacturing Somewhere along the line, the plane maker lost interest in making its own planes. Can it rediscover its engineering soul? https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2024/04/boeing-corporate-america-manufacturing/678137/
It's not the fault of the schools. It's the design (or lack thereof) of the pipeline itself. And because of the society we live in, there is no weeding out process anymore. I know it's harsh, but what it boils down to is because we don't want to hurt feelings and get bad press, people will have their lives put at risk.
You are absolutely correct but that doesn’t change the fact we have plenty of US pilots working for the airlines that should never be near the controls
Why should only the passengers in foreign-piloted airlines inequitably carry the risk of dying from pilot error?
Meh...you sound like someone who has a reason to live. If so stay home. That will help reduce the congestion at the Skyclub.
