So how many wins did Yamaha have in 2002, the first year of 2T mixed with 4T bikes? Only 2. How many in 2003, the year before Rossi arrived? Rhymes with zero despite having 6 bikes on the grid with a single 3rd place visit in a wet race the was flagged complete early. First year he was at Yamaha, Rossi was then obviously gifted 9 wins and then another 11 the next year. Simply amazing how none of the other factories wanted to win and just let Rossi win 20 races in two years just for the hell of it.
