Interesting. Up until recently, I had both an Illinois and Georgia toll thingies on the windshield of my car. Yet I never recalled seeing a charge on either account for this bridge. I had the front windshield replaced, and have yet to re-install the toll thingies. I'll make a point to complete that task before my next trip over that bridge.
This does remind me, since GA joined EZPass I need to make sure they aren't both charging me BTW - the only tolls in GA are express lanes, there aren't any full on toll roads.
Hard to do with my Camry but next time through I'll give it a shot. A Bunny Hop is probably my best outcome.
Wait...what? Ya'll finally joined what is used in most of the rest of the US? Well damn. that hasnt happened in......100, 150,.....like 160 years. Good job Georgia.
Yeah, weird shit. I think they finally figured out all the tourists running through never understood their ez pass didn't work and GA lost tons of money - or really whoever is running the toll lanes since it's not directly the state I don't think.
Mine is from Indiana since MI doesnt have toll/EZpass....heading to GA in a couple weeks and I was like sweet...I can bring my pass just in case. Indiana EZpass doesnt work with GA yet. Of course...FML.
I got mine from Mass as it was the best option for initial price and no annual fee, only really have it for trips in Ohio
I miss the good old days of stopping at the toll booths on I-95 in Nouveaux Hampster and tossing 40¢ into the basket When my I-Pass ran out of money and the recharge took 24-48 hours to register for EZPass gates in Indiana and Oh Hai Hoe, had to run a fucking card at the toll booth like using a drive-up ATM (you know, the ones where you have to get out of the car because the bollards keep you 4’ from the fucking thing). The line of schmucks behind me were not very happy
May not have updated their site, GA is saying they accept the peach pass and for the ez-pass it doesn't matter what state issued it, they're all the same.
