I have seen some of the negative comments on the facilities but the layout looks decent. I will be racing there in May and wondered what to expect.

Haven’t been there in a few years or even decades but I loved that dump.

Just don’t mess with the tire barriers. The mosquitoes don’t like you messing with their stuff.

We raced there in September. We love it, can't wait to go back this year.

In the General section there is the same conversation just a couple of weeks ago. It is titled "Nelson Ledges".

That thread started 8 days ago. Just inside the "couple of weeks"

I win. I must leave now and check posts for Grammer.

I’ve never seen anyone ‘running’ there, but I haven’t raced there since 1989.

I walked it using Strava to build a track map a few years ago. Does that count?

Are you saying walking is the new running?

Love Nelson. Was there for many, and including the very last 24 hr there. Wish theyd bring that back!!

Raced sprints there for years, but haven't been on it since 2002. Would love to put in some laps there now that iys been repaved and the speed bumps and potholes aren't there.

No, but I didn't take time to run it. I've got to get back to that. Walking it using Strava is a good way for me to get a track map and a better idea of how to help people get around the track.

    I ran out of beer.

They'll soon be a time when no matter how little you have to drink you will have to stop at least 3 times on that walk.

No, Rory didn't want me to be part of that anymore (even though I created the partnership). I'll be at the WERA Cycle Jam with both trailers. It'll be a good time. You should come.

I already have to get up most nights. It's BS. Why does that happen when you get old enough to have a hard time getting back to sleep? You people didn't warn me.
