Too old to race?

Great to meet you and what a fantastic day! My boy was over the moon to finally break his cherry. He loved the battles on the track. Can't wait until next time, see you then!

I know it's a super long haul for you but try to make it to Roebling this year. I'll wear my Devils jersey for you...

 

We talked about that on the ride home, we'll see what comes of it. And one of the WERA guys that races a Grom was trying to talk us into getting a couple and going Grom racing too. Nick said if we do he's wearing his Rangers jersey for sure

Ok - so the answer is "No I am not too old race".
Now I may be too old to go very fast but I plan to address that in the months to come. As @TWF2 says "Open Throttle Facking Poosey".

@rd400racer @Jon Wilkens @TLR67 - Very good to see y'all after so long away.

Marc - I managed to NOT actually finish last in V7 and stay on the lead lap (which I'm calling a success!).

According to Jason, another lap and you would have killed that success, but again I happy with the weekend.

Good pics. Had a lot of fun swapping positions with Nick on both races. Hope y'all can expand your schedule this season to do more of this.

 

That would have been Turn 3.

We'll give it our best shot. Right now we have 2 Tally's, 2 Nelson's, Mid O and PIRC on our schedule, but we'll see if we can squeeze others in. And he said that even though you all got around him at the end after he'd passed you guys early, it was the most fun race he's ever been part of.

 

What?! No Road Atlanta? I’m super excited for that one too!!!! 2 new-to-me tracks this year…….and if accomplished that, ill do my best to finally get to the GNF too, and make it 3 new.

 

I have to play that one by ear, I'm going to be a grandpa right around that time.

Didn't quite get on the podium but finished 4th three times at CMP this weekend. Us old guys can still have fun!
