    Gone at 74, legendary tuner worked with a lot of great riders.

    I agree and there’s a couple of really cool stories about Velasco in that link. Plus he basically still worships Nicky so he can’t be that bad!

    Daymn straight, always posts the best articles and personal perspective.
    I bought so many parts off that site in the 90s early 2000s, and for the 1st and only time on any motorbike forum..never got screwed by someone..there were good guys there. The format changed , but the vintage reading is still top shelf.
    Thats a great brief read about Velasco...
    Sumpthin about that era of men and machines. I can't be duplicated, not even by the best of modern machinery....It was awesome what these guys did basically out of their garage tool kits and lil machine shops.
