Sounds like its spoken for, but those (250/350's) are the only other bikes I would like to race.....I have chased them for years. I'd love to try one on sometime I have so much CB350 stuff at this point, that Im pretty committed there....but then again that was the plan.
Be warned, they are extremely addictive. They will move into your living room and convince you to subsist on an Italian diet. Also, you must become familiar with a variety of polishing compounds and tools.
I was looking at my race RD in the shop today. It hasn't turned a lap in years. Since I plan on racing only Ducs for the next sixty years or so, I think I'm going to add a charging system and lights to it and wheelie into the Starbucks parking lot.
One way to get a few laps with no pressure is to sign up for WERA race school on the weekend of your return to racing.
That's exactly what we did last year at the first Tally. Glad we did because as you recall, it rained damned near the entire weekend.
tuna was my shop neighbor for a bit in avondale. just turned 50 and im just starting racing this year. BMW R100
59 here and the street SV is for sale, and looking at race prepped ones this weekend. Unfortunate that I need shoulder surgery this month, but my goal is to get further up to speed and get licensed by my 60th in August. With any luck, I should be able to get back on track by May.
I'll turn 65 in August. My plan is to continue to race until I get the same age as ravedoper when he finally gives it up.
