I read somewhere she was diagnosed as bi polar a few years back also She was in the mental hospital after her son’s death.
She converted to Islam a few years back and looked really unhealthy.

She had a voice that was shocking and was gorgeous. Sad to see her slide.

yeah, I've seen her pictures not long ago and thought she didn't look healthy...hence the question. She was an awesome singer...but for sure a bit odd.

 

The original version of Haunted with Cait O’riordan was incredible (played at my wedding for the dance after the cake deal) but sinead did it justice, well until Shane MacGowan drunks his way into it.

In reading one of the obits today, it was noted that she has been diagnosed as bipolar in her early 20s. Woman had a difficult life. With everything she had been through I am assuming suicide. She lived in a mental hospital for at least six years at one point.
