I ran off at Barber the year he was riding a Graves R6 for a Speedvision special of some sort... I came back on track close to him and decided to stay close for the TV time passed and repassed a bunch of times he rode way better than I thought he would...
I agree, Greg is the obvious choice. And to help get him up to speed, CU should take him for a two up ride on the Thursday before the Ridge!
Can they convince Alex Dumas to run both series for the remaining rounds? I think our CSBK season only has 5 rounds anyway, can be that Bigga deal can it?
When he was racing twins cup, they were basically living in the US- they had a big rig that would be in chuckwalla (or one of those tracks out there) or Jennings. Covid screwed that all up, of course.
As the idea is good, it would be risky to have him do two separate championships. A crash with a boo-boo is easily attained. Ask Alex about his elbow. Of course if the schedules don't conflict, I think it would be amazing for both series. Sure would get more publicity up here... and since he's made a name for himself down there, that would be great also for Moto America and the fans. Hey hey CSBK and Moto America, you guys reading any of this valuable info !?!?!
I just watched Simon Crafar do a lap of Portimao and he's narrating the whole lap with some embellishments. Would be really cool to hear someone like that mid battle through a race.
