    Got scammed by James Everett
    2 separate email accounts
    helitics Inc <[email protected]>
Someone messaged me here under riq12 responding to a wanted to buy add.

He uses [email protected] for his zelle account under James Everett.

Took me for an ohlins spring for $100.

He started to push for other items he had for sale and getting payment, that threw up the red flag afterwards. Too late for me but wanted to worn others to keep an eye out.

    Dave K DaveK über alles!

I killed him off as soon as some others gave me a head’s up.

do not fall for the scam of a poster with 0 posts directing you to a third party!

and report them to me as soon as you start getting DMs sending you to someone who has the part.

there’s a thread In WTB covering this scam, you can’t miss it, it’s a sticky.

snitches get cookies, scammers get stitches.

    BrentA Very expensive.

    Really really common scam.
I admin our bike's forum and deal with this almost daily.
Locking down new accounts from even sending PM's is a good idea.

    Sweatypants I am so smart! S-M-R-T... I mean S-M-A-R-T!

Out of curiosity, what spring are you after? I have the one that came on my Vdue project shock that was for an R1M that is clearly sprung way to hard for the weight difference. Its just sitting in a box, I can check the product # later if you want to give me the one you're after.

Tacoma forum I am on, doesnt allow classified postings/pm's, until you have 25 or 50 thread/forum entries. prevents people from joining to scam, or start an online business, on their forum. Ski
