Just grabbed this Suzuki RGV gas tank from a package deal on a pretty cool CBR900rr. Any real use or value on these? It's new, never installed still in the box from Japan. It'll be cool just hanging on my office wall in the meantime.
Take your time. Money to be made if you are patient. Or find someone that really is restoring one if you are magnanimous. If nothing else, you'll have a nice wall hanger.
Fire places show me an individual who knows why..and what they provided and such..other than an image to make them look good . and most want one yet no.. idea what and why it represents...... asking who had to cut wood?? and most still do.. alot and much respect... great find my man keep it!!!
For some context. I picked up a slabby GSXR a couple years back and it came with the original tank that was pulled off almost immediately, was basically in NOS condition and stored well and proper. I sold it for (I think) $400-500. That RGV tank has GOT to be worth at least $800-1000.
One of the other cool pieces in the package was this belly panel for a Yamaha RZV 500. Its new, never installed but box was open and super dusty. (Front end of the CBR900RR in the background)
I bought a like new 1991 GSXR-400 tank for $250 a coiple years ago. Definitely worth more to the right buyer, just not a big market in the USA
hang both on wall...and let go of the hodska. sheesh apologize the h ...word..promise won't slip. no worries no one will know... just keep both!!
