No thread for this coming weekend yet? Can anyone catch and beat Gagne this weekend? New pavement, hot, humid. I heard the pavement was shredding tires. Might be okay with the R5 on the 1000s. Predictions? Who's going? Stop by the Orange Cat tent and dump cold water down my back.
Yes, apparently the times were super slow when Tytlers tested there. I think the top speed will help the rest catch him but idk if they can beat him. Apparently Cam P is healthy enough to give it a go but Attack has a backup plan if he is unfit. Maybe @KWyman133?
Cam B may catch Jake, but no one else....and I love Cam P Have fun wish I could be there, hopefully next year!
Heading up Saturday it looks like. No ice this winter, eh? Did you even get out? Literally only got 2 days, and that was up on Lake Ellen.
Taking my 8yo son to his first ever race on Sat. Who in the paddock should I be looking to catch that’s cool? I’ve known Farrell for like 20 years, so he’s a must for me, but I don’t know most of the new crop. Who might take the time to say hey and make a new fan out of a youngin?
Josh Herrin is great with the kids. He really hammed it up with my son (was 7 at the time) at Road America when they were doing the autograph sessions.
Stop by the SWG rig. Carl Solitz and Logan Monk will be happy to have your son chat it up with them. And as always you can meet assjuice so it a win win.
Heading there from MI with the wife at 4am tomorrow morning. Was hoping they'd let RV's in on Thursday night, but I don't see anything stating we can do that... I'm excited, I love Road America. I rented one of their golf carts for the weekend too. Last time the wife and I got a TON of steps in just going all over watching from different areas. However, this year my wife is also currently working on month 6 out of a 9 month temporary role as my baby's house. So I gatta make sure she's comfy and pampered at all times. LOL We are both excited to get away from our full time jobs for a few days and NOT have to worry about me further proving how terrible I am at racing these things. HAHAHA.
Reduced travel budgets. Jr. Cup, Stock 1000 and Twins Cup are running two races at all events they go to, but they don't go to all the events. This way they get about the same number of races as previous years with less travel budget. They also go through a few less tires because of fewer practice and qualifying sessions this way.
