Yup, this. There is no reason to treat face hair any different than the hair on the top of your head. I once kickstarted a BSA 441 Victim. It sucked.

I've had a few 441's over the years. No matter how old they get, they never have more than about 7000 miles on them. It doesn't take many thirty minute kick starting sessions to relegate a bike to the back of the barn for a decade or two.
got some of that beard stuff for a birthday few years back. used it once and decided it was not for me. once a month or so i use a brush. or shave it off.
I grow one every fall and take it off in the spring. I keep it short and don't do anything special with it, wash it with my 2 in 1 body wash shampoo and that's it.

Tried a couple times in the Navy in my 20s. Came in brindle and sparse so I gave up. I agree most facial hair looks lame but I have some friends that rock the 70s porn stache or the Marlboro man. Sucks for scubadiving anyway.
Living in SD, you can pick always pick out the team guys and fighter pilots. The attire is different but they're united by a mil spec dick broom.
I disagree, but that's just me. If I used nothing but bar soap on it, it would turn into a mangy, raggedy mess over time....not trying to look like an unkempt neckbeard I kickstarted an Islo once in my early teens
I haven’t kickstarted a BSA so I ain’t skeered to say it…call me what you will. I use a couple Beard Guyz products because it’s readily available at every HEB. Mine is stupid coarse and each hair has a mind of its own. I have a wash/conditioner then throw some oil at it and a paste of some sort to get it all going the same way. At stubble’ish I’d say just try and find a wash with some sort of conditioner to help with the itch. After that it’s kind of trial and error.
