They don’t HAVE to get rid of the name. Just use it ironically like when the 6’5” 400lb dude gets the nickname Tiny
I expect grids to be bigger. That entry list if I understand it right is only entries that have paid for a full season in advance. Is there a min age with AHRMA?
I'm sure there will be, at least a couple racers missing that are doing some rounds at least. 18 for AHRMA.
That's cool that there's a MV entered full time. And I like pulling for Danilo as it seems like he's one of those small time efforts that's still able to make a splash bigger than you'd expect.
I think Fores and Mesa will give those GSXRs plenty of competition all season long. The R6s will give them fits at places like Barber too. Well and the MV when it is running right, and they hit on the setup. Going to be a learning curve on that bike.
2023 is the last year the R6, GSXR600, ZX636 can run a kit or stock ecu. In 2024, everyone has to be on the Metronik. I think the 636 is going to be a missile as it gets the cams, stacks, and blended seat porting like the 600s. Last year, Stefano ran the old spec 636.
trying to get a late minute package together. if you remember he wasnt on the full season entry list last year either gonna be extra shitty if he cant find something too bc apparently he was offered the m4 superbike ride
CU said he offered a fully paid factory superbike ride to two riders. both declined, no further details but i dont think the ride was as drastic a situation as it was last year since he spoke a few times about increased support (oddly) now that suzuki is consolidated
