Take a stroll up Mt. Bonnell, watch the sunset, then stop at Mandolas. Save room for the Amaretti cookies.

Visit the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue.
    I'll second Cooper's BBQ. It's very good...and very expensive.

Free food at @crashman 's place every day. If your company is not paying for hotels, he will throw in a free room as well. No need for reservations. Tell him I sent you.

I’ve got a kitty named LBJ. It’s actually for “little bear junior”, because she looks like another that was named Little Bear. Now it’s just funny when we “introduce” her as LBJ, and we get the strangest looks for some reason  Thread DERAILED!!!!!!:D

The lost well is a cool little bar
ABGB brews beer and has good pizza and a nice patio to hang as well. Sometimes you will see Schwantz there.
The White Horse for a kinda honky tonk
The Continental Club is a must. they have everything from rockabilly to country, blues etc. Usually some cool hot rods there too.
Thats off the top of my head.

I'm showing some friends 6th St on Fri night if you wanna gatecrash. Always a good time.

Other than that I haven't actually been into the city proper much. Fredericksburg, about 2hr west, is pretty fancy Wine Country if you guys are into that.

See, up in the sky, that great big bright white thing that used to be yellow, that rises in the east and sets in the west? Since its too freaking hot where you are at, that big ol sun has fried your brain silly.

That or 5g. Not sure exactly.
