Let us speculate on an updated R1

    Any speculation on what an updated R1 might be like? I've seen the rumor about a seamless transmission patent by both Yamaha and Ducati. Maybe 2024?

    Enjoying my screamer R6, but I can't help but have an eye out for a cross plane crank with some grunt. Wondering what might trickle down from MotoGP. Maybe updated electronics, brakes, and dash? 2nd Gen electronic Ohlins like on the MT-10 SP?

    Hits 1000 rpm lower than advertised redline.
    With $4000 in mods it will outperform the R1M version.
    Will definitely come in a speedblock retro version.
    Will possibly end up in my garage.

    I just hope it has those bitchn aero wings on the upper cowl that all the kids have now.I don't know how
    anyone rides a bike w/o those ? And a reaally long gigantic rear fender
