https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/02/rally-car-driver-ken-block-dead/ I just saw this during the suspended NFL game. What a shit night.
God damn it, I loved watching that guy driving and the cars they built for him. Rip, huge loss to the racing community.
and Jeremy Renner in critical (stable) after a snow incident...jesus. KB brought the Hoonicorn to our work and got to meet him. Seemed like such a nice guy.
Ah man, brutal. Dude has inspired millions to get into cars. I still remember the first time I watched Gymkhana 1 way back. I was looking forward to watching him run Pikes Peak this year. He was just posting on IG about his daughter’s Quattro build. Terrible news.
He also inspired the “ken block” rule here. The single YouTubes thread instead of a new thread every time he did anything or people discovered him. I actually called it that. guess he got one over on me with this.
FACK. Hate to see the world lose people who shine so brightly. Gone too soon. Comfort to his family and friends.
Dude was a legend who did it all. Skate, snow, MX, cars.. Glad he’ll be the one to come sliding in sideways to St.Peter saying “holy shit , what a ride” I will never be sad that dude lives. Cheers to him!
