One of the golf course beverage cart girls was actually a flight attendant and just picking up work at the course. She disappeared for a while and then was there full time. Turns out they hit turbulence then she hit the roof and came down on the cart. She messed up her back and got a little settlement, hasn’t flown since.

This one time in Atlantic City I was going down the escalator @ Tropicana heading to the cab line. Headed the other direction up it was guess who? So I waited until I was at the bottom and he was at the top and I shouted "HEY DANTE!!!" He looked back and gave me the evil eye....I guess he wasn't pleased, probably gets that alot more than Gil Hicks I would imagine.
Been flying since about 11...working for airlines 32 years. Growing up around cedar point amusement park helped me deal with turbulence by riding the roller coasters every summer. I will put it this way...every time you undo your seat belt there is a chance your gonna bounce around on the interior of the aircraft. I avoid that. In turbulence...My wife usually has a death grip on me while I have my hands up going wooooooooo I get the stink eye afterwards hehe
I meant Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij, which has its hub near Hampsterdamn [sic]. Only a train ride away from the red light area where photography is somewhat prohibited. Common traits amongst pilots I like: a morbid sense of humor combined with being comfortable in uncomfortable situations. My adult roommate won’t fly with me anymore.
