Bingo, Sorry just came straight from the investing thread, and had my brain in that mode while typing lol
I don’t care for this method of accounting. It’s like borrowing money, something of which, I’m not fond. Payment is due upon service, fuckers.
I shoulda adopted that method earlier this year. A client from whom I was going to collect a check next week for services rendered bi-weekly since the beginning of July through the end of the year is, uh, well, let's just say his place burned to the ground this week. I'll be surprised if I can collect.
That's a big brain you're showing off there, bud. The FAFO chart is linear for simplicity and for comedic effect. You know that already. But I agree with your opinion that the scale would not be linear in most cases. Take Exhibit A (below) for example. Relatively "safer" than: a) using, say, a floor jack with no jack stands, or b) even "safer" than a floor jack WITH jack stands on gravel, or c) only jack stands on gravel (to replace the tires & rims) Each of these would have non-linear coordinates in my book. But I haven't FAFO'd this myself. Exhibit A:
Kickin' them Marlboro Lights out into the open with them Vibram-soled boots was the safest thing he did. Could you imagine trying to light up a smoke layin' on your back in an industrial environment without safety glasses AND cuttin' out catalytic converters? It's just not done!
It's always possible the windshield was damaged by some other object and someone posed the corncob for the photo. That would be my guess.
