Gonna be a good one. Marquez is apparently a really good dude. Sorry to let yall know. They were teammates back in the day.
Any regrets about waiting that long before going to GP? Could things have been different if he had made the jump after his first superbike championship or two?
On the Daytona 200, "Who knows, maybe something will come up" Who has a bike and wants to win the 200??
As a fat boy, I'd be interested in understanding his approach to weight management. Not is he on Madonna's popcorn diet, but his motivational approach to abstain when there's these damned Reese's Christmas candies all over the place
How does he like the BMW compared to the Yamaha? Is he getting a new bike for next year or are they all using the bikes from last year?
First off, congrats on the baby and stepping into fatherhood after being the SBK Daddy for 5 years. Did he try giving SDK any pointers? Seems like SDK had a rough go the first year opposed to Cam.
Besides the bikes being closer in competition between a large portion of them compared to MA (or is that true? are some vastly better for some reason... team knowledge, setup, secret tricks?) ask him to speak on some of the biggest nuances and differences between his competition. different rhythm to the ebb and flow of the riding? different attitudes to america? different etiquette? are the track surfaces that much shittier here (because they sure do look it) and how does where he learned or what he learned on play into his transition to Moto2 tracks? what was most difficult for him to try and overcome? what was missing compared to the Top 5?
Sorry guys only had him for an hour. lotta good talking though and he was honest and straightforward and was a really good listen. tank slappin podcast will be released soon. joe Roberts next
