Anyone familiar with Big Block Chevy 7.4 gas engines?

I just want to say that any thread about a big block gas engine is awesome by default.

Once you get it running, you should let it run for 12hrs in celebration.

 

Cut the oil filter apart. Whatever debris is there will tell you where the issue is. If it’s in the engine itself.

 

I was gonna said pos head gasket or hydrolock issue? Pulling reading plugs might answer that right off.
