Depends on how much I won. A million or less, I'd take a few days off and go get the check, do a nice remodel on the house, build that outbuilding I've been wanting. Maybe buy another rental property with whatever is left, then back to work.
Sometimes it depends on the day of the week. Some days if I won a free cheeseburger I'd be "eff this I'm outta here". If I won a million, I'd probably stay for a few more years, but that money would sure help pad my retirement. 2 million and up, I'd probably quit. Not to say I wouldn't work anymore (maybe get a job at the golf course), but the interest on that money would start to easily replace my income at that point, so it becomes a simple math problem. I'm only working until I have enough nuts squirreled away to last me the rest of my life, and not a second more. Unfortunately as it stands that's a lot longer than I'd like.
decided to get a ticket. Had fun thinking about it while walking to dog. When they draw the numbers and there isn't a single number correct I'll go back to not buying them again
you buy for the dream, if only for a day - you are as likely as anyone to win. we buy every once and awhile...
