True. And it's still half as cheesy as Pigeon Forge. OMG this place is terrible.

I work in Gatlinburg sometimes 3 or 4 times a week.

Peddler is absolutely fantastic to eat. Go to Ober Gatlingburg to ice skate.

All of the attractions are pretty damn cool really. Do the Ripley's Haunted House. I hate haunted houses and the only reason I go in, is to work on their elevator. I go in behind the scenes and see the sites and sounds. Pretty insane.

All the moonshine places are good.

Go to Dollywood. It's beautiful this time of year.

Wonder works is pretty fascinating as is the wax museum.

Lastly, they are building the countries biggest buc-cess right off the exit.

    Go ride go-karts.

Wears Valley and Townsend are beautiful also.

i assumed everyone new the dragon was there. the missing link foothills parkway has hiking and nice over looks. what ever you do don't go into cades cove...takes hours in leaf season. also clingmens dome is good hike but will be swamped with people

Could try half of Cades Cove, get on Parsons Branch, then end up on the Dargon. Depends on your vehicle though. Low car, probably not gonna make it. It’s a park service, gravel and dirt road with some creek crossings.

Foothills Parkway has some nice views and there’s a spot where you can park and take paved trail up to fire tower.
