I can see it now. Hordes of beerless wisconsinsites on their snow machines, raping and pillaging in search of cases of natural light
I was at Maker's Mark yesterday and drove all through bourbon country to get there, I can assure you the supply is just fine
That’s just because you haven’t been introduced to a lot of new and unique stuff. Well, except Heineken just tastes like shit.
I probably agree with this, but for the past few years I have been sampling many red wines, scotches, Irish and Japanese whiskey. I find I gain less weight with those and they create less gas. But you are right, there is a huge variety of good beer.
Whore mouth! Lying whore mouth right there!!! I like the Heineken for two reasons: 1) it’s the same no matter where you get it. The Heineken you get in Zurich tastes exactly the same as you get in Mexico City and the same in NoVa. 2) the Iron Sheik like the Heineken, bubba.
Years ago I was warned on a tour at Maker's Mark of an inevitable bourbon shortage due to it's limited production coupled to recent booming popularity over seas. I'm stocking up on Jameson accordingly.
Wait, shouldn't that be like illegal or something? Can't have all these natural sources of CO2 around warming up the joint. There ought to be a law, er regulation...
Tis good to know that that shit tastes the same everywhere. Now, there's no need to see if it sucks the same in the US as elsewhere.
I had a Paulaner in Berlin. It was amazing and a different beer than any Paulaner you can get in the US. Some beers just don't travel well, so they have to change the recipe for export. As to the original topic, I am guessing worst case is that folks might have to pick from 40 to 50 different beers instead of the 80 to 100 that are typically in my grocery store. Total Wine & More may only stock 500 different beers instead of 2500+. Oh, the agony!
