Ducati question

Would you all buy an 01 Ducati 748 with 32k miles, no service records and some slight fairing damage for $4000? The mileage and no service records scare me

If I only had $4000 for a bike, thats not the $4000 bike I'd buy.

And I work on all my own stuff.

 

My feelings exactly. I got the cash but just don't want to buy a complete headache money pit

Spoken like someone who's just waiting for that one "yes" to show up in this thread.

 

My son just picked up this 08 last weekend with 27K miles and full service records (including a complete dealer service just performed less than 1,000 miles ago) for $6K. Save up a couple more bucks and keep looking, there's better bikes out there.

My 748 is a love/hate relationship. Its an amazing bike until it isn't...

 

That's what I did, and one frame up rebuild later it runs great. Offer $2k, cause that's what it's worth, and then walk away anyways if you're a sane human being, which I am not.
