I did a little horse trading with a good friend that owed me for some work. His guy finished it for him early 2019, went to a show or 2 and parked with 750 miles on it Jokes from the 70's aside... the candy never really was 'free' anyway '74 Tradesman shorty He said they had to go in the back of several old dusty conversion Van shops to get the NOS body kit 295/50-15's!
If you know Hot Rods, the name Ron Mangus should be familiar and several cows died for this He's not getting that DVD back The bar even came stocked! Gotta stock beers in the fridge in the Sub Box And have a smoke from the Humidors
I honestly didn't know that much about it. I didn't know about the truly kick ASS 12 speaker stereo system: and surprise! A brand new 430hp 6.2L LS3/4L65E GMPP powertrain. It really IS a Boogie Van! I mean, really. Who the Hell puts this kind of money in a mid-70's Dodge Van? Can't say I'm mad about it though Had to share... I'm so stoked!
That van needs a wizard fireballing a dragon in the underworld on the side at the very least. Maybe the Starship Enterprise orbiting Uranus on the other side. Inside you need black lights along with a Hendrix poster and a Keep On Truckin poster. Plus the moon and stars and planets on the headliner. And lava lamps. And don't forget the "Cash, Grass, or Ass, Nobody Rides For Free" sign on the dash.
I had a '74 and the grill in your van is from a '73 or earlier. Helluva nice ride you got there. Congrats. This is the original grill work for '74...
Since the title said "Van" not "van", I came in here assuming this was going to be about a MA Jr. Cup rider. Cool van, but not my scene.
Old square body hot rodded vans are cool. But personally, I’d rather have a 23 window VDub all tricked out.
I haul my bike in a Ram PMC, works great and at the end of the day I park it in my garage and unload like 2 days later. that 74 dodge is awesome
That thing is bad ass!! I love that leather. I can’t imagine how much that was to do the interior work and that engine. If you got it for pennies on the dollar, like it sounds like, that is awesome!
No fancy drapes or shag. But mine does have a jacknife sofa and separate garage in the back for muting the sound of children.
