I would think that hundreds of free bikes shipped at eight times the cost of a pre-covid container is still an interesting deal.
That's what they were doing in baltimore for a long time, rumor has it. I don't see "thousands" of bikes as realistic. The people buying wrecked stuff aren't looking to buy new or nice used. They're going to the auction to get a deal. They auction stuff here. I think very little makes it back onto the street.
I mean c'mon...its not like the people that had them confiscated would buy them back for cheap and keep doing it. That could NEVAH happen.... If they crush enough of them the ones in your garages will go up in value.
Kind of cool to talk about the things we do without consequences. Only one person has been a a-hole thus far.
The only person who’s consistently an asshole is you…which explains why you’re incapable of recognizing it.
They crushed the stolen bike I dropped when I ran away so I'm going over to @Bowman Forklift to get another one. Problem solved Mr. Mayor, thanks!
Perhaps a better use of the tax payers money would be to use that bulldozer and crew for more constructive purposes like fixing the roads and infastructure? The sale of those bikes could have funded it! And if your concern is that they'd just end up back in the bangers hands, well, theyll just go out and steel more anyway.
