If 21 other riders crash out or DNS then MAYBE. Dovi could fall into a swimming pool full of tits and come out sucking his thumb.
As much as I love the only remaining contender from 2008, I had to drop him from my fantasy lineup due to lack of pace. I do hope he makes the "new" yamaha work into the top 5 eventually. maybe its just the high speed track and a slow yamaha hindering his performance opening weekend... look at Fabio and Franco in qualifying .
I like Dovi...always will, but his time to shine has long since passed. He, like Rossi, is no longer for this era of the sport...it has moved on.
No podiums for Dovi, the drop off in his results is not quite Lorenzo level but it's drastic regardless. To see where he was last year in testing the Aprilia and then on the easiest bike in the paddock to ride - and one he spent 2-3 seasons on previously with Tech3 - massive drop in pace so my guess is no podiums and he'll be a consistent 10th - 15th place finisher.
For fuckin’ fucks sake give up on the Rossi shit. He’s retired and racing cars and wrecking super hot chicks. He’s gone, give up on trying to whip that horse.
If you're referencing my quote Dave, I wasn't trying to whip anything up...I was actually saying 46's time to retire had come. I'm just putting them in the same "bucket" or retirement home. Yamaha should have signed Joe Roberts or Cam Boobies to that seat before Dovi as far as I'm concerned. Just like your boy 7.....it was OVER a long time ago.
Yeah, reading posts on an old iPhone ain’t the best. I wouldn’t sign cam or Joe. I’d be zeroing in on one of the asaparagus brothers. Or Miller, I think he might hit the market and cheap.
I have a feeling at the end of the year that Rins will be available. He might be better on the Yamaha than Miller.
I was just focused on bringing new talent up from Moto2 like they did with Daryn Binder. The Asparagus brothers haven't gotten it done by now...ain't gonna happen. Miller might be an option though, cause J. Martin's going to be on the factory bike next year. Zarco needs to win a race and a podium or two to keep his job for 23 at Pramac, too.
Yeah....that I found interesting to say the least. Not sure how or why they got that bypass to the premier class over other talents in Moto2.
