Her and Dexter were married in real life. That explains the weird sexual tension between them in earlier seasons. They divorced before this last season which I'll bet made filming interesting!
Yes. My wife and I both gave up after the first then over Christmas we decided to give it a try. I thought it was good.
It was far better than the last couple of seasons of the first series. And this one got a proper ending. Are they planning on continuing with the kid? I'm not on board for that.
Goon that was hired by the town serial killer? Yeah he ended up like most people that make Dex's acquaintance. Overall the season was okay - not a dumpster fire but not exactly enthralling either IMO. The ending seemed to be the show-runner's way of a do-over and also served the dual purpose of setting up Jr for future seasons with Michael Hall playing the ghost father while helping him with his Dark Passenger I'm assuming.
The last couple seasons of the original, I didn't really enjoy. My buddie got me to watch episode 1 of the new season this past weekend. He says this new series gets good.
Finally got around to watching the finale. Meh. Incredibly transparent setup for Drew Brees looking kid to have his own series, but I don't think he has the gravitas for it.
I really liked the original Dexter, this one is also pretty good. I am not sure how I feel about the ending, there has to be a show with just the kid coming, right? No way they would bring back a older TV show to have 10 episodes and end it again.
Well, people were pretty vocal about the lousy ending of the original series. Maybe they had remorse? I mean, if you can redeem yourself and make money in the process…
Wow....nice way to really end the series. The writer's strike really messed up the original series. This was a nice series. The police captain was great.
