I still don’t think it’s sunk in that @PistolPete passed away two nights ago. Pete had been battling cancer for several months. Pete was one of the good guys in the paddock. Always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a great teammate and honestly one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. Whether it was flying planes out of third world countries with no resources other than himself or building a house in the Bahamas on his own with materials he delivered on his own boat from Florida to get it done. Pete could do it all. If there was ever a draft for who you wanted on your doomsday scenario team, Pete would of been one of my top drafts. Lol I will never forget his stories and advice he gave me. One that I think of almost everyday is him telling me that I needed to slow down with some decisions in life because “you gotta realize sometimes Nothing good can come of this.” I wish you had more time living your dream life in the Bahamas Pete. You will be missed.
Holy crap I had no idea. Sorry to hear aaron.. I only just now realize I havnt seen him post here for a while.
Crap, I think I remember his illness being mentioned before. I was hoping he would beat it. Rest in peace, racer. Condolences to Pete's friends and family.
Pete, you were one of my favorite people in this world. Your spirit and attitude toward life was second to none. I loved hanging out with you at the track and being your competitor, teammate and friend. Thinking about you now and writing this has my stomach turned into knots. I miss you my friend.
