My $0.02, Nelson is great for endurance. Keep it, Pitt and summit as your northern rounds. Barber, Roebling and Road Atlanta as the southern rounds. Throw CMP back out.

The real dream for endurance would be VIR, but I know that's not happening

Why not? It was the first round when endurance came back a few short years ago. I was told by management at VIR that they would be happy to have bikes back but they want three day rentals for the weekend. Perfect. N2 practice on Friday, endurance Saturday and sprints on Sunday.
    Make it happen Mongo.

We've asked and cannot get dates. Number of days hasn't mattered.

I hear ya. I just thought I came across the reason why you haven't been able to get a date since, I believe, 2015. There are track days that have a lot of dates so it can't really be they don't want bikes. It does seem like they are having bike groups do 3 consecutive days unless you don't want North or will take dates in that are weekdays.

If VIR keeps adding armco as planned, it will eventually be car only. The recent addition of armco in turn 3 already had a bike hit it (airfence was in front of it) during a track day.

Our incidents had nothing to do with the track itself. We just have bad juju there. Plus that weekend there was a Spartan race or something nearby and the hotel choices were just sh@t.

    - Road Atlanta endurance.. Sign me up. I'd happily spend another 6 hours on the road and incur the expense of flying my riders into ATL than go back to Nelson.

Yea that hurts for NE guys. I am surprised that Summit did not make the schedule.

Mongo's list has Summit Sept 10 no RA (and N2 doesn't have a trackday listed for RA Sept 2)...so guessing RA is a mistake?

That’s what our team is wondering as well, which is correct?

Road Atlanta is the correct one, Summit being against MA at NJMP makes it tough on teams/riders/crews and we couldn't get the date changed but still going to work on it.

A few years ago I would never believe I'd be saying this....but Nelson PLEASE! Despite crashing my brains out last time there, it's a great layout and surface. Poor hotel choices??? Fucking primadonnas...

Schedule is good. What I'm wondering about is the payouts? Same as last year? Better? Worse?

I agree on schedule.... It would be nice to have one more north east round but Barber and Road A going to be a blast.

Not according to a fully booked Summit Point.

We don't get to pick and choose based on our schedule sadly.
