After 10 years off from the track I bought this bike last year just to see if I wanted to get back in. After a few track days I was hooked again, so "upgraded" to a 2017 R6 this spring. Finally time to sell this one now. Good first track bike. Runs well. It's got the custom black track package paint job. Good from 10' and 100mph. Anything closer or slower it looks like it's been painted for the track. Had a slow low side at Autobahn last year. Have video of the crash if buyer wants to see. Nice and easy, just laid her down and we both took a comfortable slide into the grass. Crash damage seen in photos on the right side. I know crash damage makes you look cool, but I'm not going to increase the price for that. (sarcasm) After the crash I replaced the stock bars with Vortex clip-ons, replaced the rashed Two Brothers exhaust with new M4 + cat delete/Y-pipe, then added a few more items like Vortex keyless gas cap, Woodcraft keyless ignition. The neon yellow is just vinyl, can be removed if you're not Polish and named Peter. 17,202 miles. Clean title. Not in my name. Previous owner never transferred into his name, nor did I. Title in hand. Located in Chicago suburbs. - Full Armour Bodies track fairings w/ super bike tail and seat foam (small stone throw chipping throughout) - M4 exhaust + cat delete/y-pipe - GPR V4 stabilizer - Vortex adjustable rearsets - Vortex keyless gas cap - Vortex clip-ons - Woodcraft keyless ignition - Gear Indicator - CRG short levers / Sato bar ends - Puig windscreen - Galfer braided lines / titanium drilled caliper bolts - GB racing full engine case saver kit - Q4s with a few days on them. Good for a few more at beginner or easy/medium intermediate pace - R&G Axle sliders / spools - Tank sliders / grips - Carbon tank shroud - -1 and +2 on the sprockets with new-ish chain
Hey polish Pete. Shoot me an email. I'm interested but I don't check the forum often. [email protected]
Quick bump. Still for sale. Crazy how many low-ballers are out there. The bike is priced right I believe. $2,500 wont buy it. lol I feel like maybe I should list it at $6k and then give someone a good deal a $4,500.
yah hilarious hence why I havent even bothered to post my 07... or any of my bikes. Shoot I was trying to give a complete set of streetbody away for a ninja 300 and I had people wanting me to ship it. When I explain it would be ~$200 they try to low ball that...lol On the flip side there are alot of retarded sellers out there. Good luck with the sale... its a solid platform and the benchmark of a middle weight bike.
Thanks, I appreciate it. You know the markets bad when free isn't good enough! lol I miss the Craigslist days. It's almost as if CL had better buyers than Facebook. Of course you had scammers, but people mostly showed up when you set a date/time for sale. With FB odds are 50/50 that the person who is coming to look at whatever it is you're selling actually shows up. In my case it's OK, not in a hurry to sell, so will wait for the right buyer. Can hold it until next spring when it's "in-season" again.
