Howdy folks, I have an R6 that I'd like to sell. It has an '06 frame, the previous owner told me the motor came from a 2010 and the odometer came from the same bike. I, of course, can't confirm the exact year of the bike it came from, but if you look up the little serial number on the motor, you can indeed confirm it came from an 08+ machine. The tail, front subframe, air duct, and bodywork (etc) has been swapped out to the newer (17+) R6. I got the kit to convert the bodywork from this site: https://www.bikesplast.com/product/special-upgrade-kit-yamaha-r6-2008-2016-to-2017/ The kit alone for the bodywork conversion is over $1k. I've recently installed this, and it has one track day on it. I've also recently installed the IRC quickshifter with auto-blip. (For those of you who haven't had any experience with it, its freakin fantastic) I used it literally less than one track day. It's basically brand new. It's the one sold at Moto-D here: https://www.motodracing.com/irc-components-yamaha-r1-r6-up-down-quick-shifter . This is basically $1k too with taxes and whatnot It has all the other usual mods. 520 chain conversion with sprockets, upgraded air filter(just cleaned and oiled up one track day ago), techspec X-Line grips, woodcraft frame sliders, Gilles rearsets, Antigravity Lithium battery (maybe 3 track days on it), GYTR exhaust, Penske rear shock, Puig front shield, MotionPro (one track day on it). You know what I'm talking about... same ol' stuff.. I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting to mention. But I think you get the point here, its a trackday/race prepped bike. Ready to go as is. Suspension is set up for a 170lb rider, no gear. I'm selling because I just want something else. I have been racing/track daying a variety of R6's since 2009 and I've never owned a 1000cc bike so I think it's time to have some fun with something else. If you want "better" pictures, or want to see something in particular, just let me know. I didn't take many pictures because, you know, it looks like an R6. You'll be looking at it when you come see it, right? But here are some pictures: Don't be alarmed by the picture coming up, I've cleaned my shed since this was taken: Here's some minor damage to the frame slider and engine cover. I had a very very slow slide on my very first lap on the first session at barber my last time out, turn 5 (I didn't have my tires on the warmers that morning, because I'm really smart): 8,041 miles: The body work has some minor scratches and whatnot and it all occurred during shipping. I never got it painted or anything. The bike is located in Marietta, GA. Clean title ready to go. Also, here's a frog: I think it's priced fairly going off of other bikes I've seen listed, but I'm willing to entertain offers. Unfortunately, I can't include the frog, as it jumped away shortly after snapping the picture.
Haha. I was hoping it would be. Thanks brother. Now I gotta figure out what to do with this R1 I bought
