So every rider that signs with another team, or wants to get out of their contract for another opportunity should immediately quit their current contract, WHAT?!?!
If your Yamaha, Yes. Now they have a media storm...everyone watching. I have to admit, I'm curious how they will handle the apology.
To me the Revving thing is a nothing burger. He was pissed how the race played out and whacked the throttle. Pulling in the pits before crossing the finish is quitting a race, and THAT is the unacceptable part to me.
that actually makes no sense at all. so their obligation to their sponsors, to the contract agreed upon both parties, should just go null? What top 25 rider can replace him in the middle of a season? Are they not under contract too, should they also break their contract and join another team.
Yea maybe but Yamaha spotlighted it by their press release of suspension. Both rider and team could have saved themselves the drama. My 2 cents
I get it...who would lose more rider or team. Must be the team...he ain't riding this weekend and his bike will have dust on it. No sponsor would like that. Strange decision to me.
Meregalli said that they already said they said their part on Thursday, there is nothing left to say.
I really don’t care what his excuse/reason is. I own a small machining business. My haas tools range from $45k to $113. ANYBODY that intentionally screws with or abused my equipment would immediately be escorted out of the building with the knowledge that their last check is in the mail and they dam sure better never even imagine listing my company as a reference. This guy tried to blow up a multi million dollar bike during a tissy fit?! He retired himself, as I can’t imagine any serious manager or team owner trusting such a juvenile unprofessional person with such a valuable piece of equipment and such high stakes work again in the future.
You left off three... here you go! Broome approved. Lol. Seriously, this is like a post dated divorce. Anyone expect things to get better when he pulled the ripcord on his contract? I feel bad for the team and for him. Call it a day. Today.
The idea that Yamaha turned down his engine is a no-go. Mav's lap times weren't far off Quatro's up until the last few, when Mav started his hissy-fit. This is completely on Mav. Dumb Ass! And...Yamaha expected Mav to honor his contract until the end of the year when they agreed to part ways at the end of the season. He is done @ Yamaha. I predict Cal will ride out the rest of the year.
