It's okay, but I have had condensation between the pinlock and the shield. But I also live on the gulf in a marsh, so maybe it will work better for you. It is also another layer of stuff to look through, which can annoy some people.

I think the seal on mine may be worn out/damaged.

Then there's that Rain-X for the inside stuff? kinda lick dish soap?

I's likes it on the outside though- the Rain X.

Never tried the Pin lock thingy- I know I won't either.
