At this moment we have not cancelled anything - however we are watching closely what the state and local government officials are saying and doing and will obviously have to go along with what they decide for gatherings.
Limit entries to 250.. Problem solved. On a serious note, I hope if you have to cancel the track works with you.
Number of entries has nothing to do with it. For NOLA they counted the total CMRA peeps along with those at the kart track and all of the employees etc... Logic has nothing to do with anything right now.
Definitely no logic involved. It is a terrible disease but running and hiding in a hole somewhere with your hoarded toilet paper is not going to make it go away. Man has been fighting disease for thousands of years.
So final decision will be made tomorrow on our end. The governor didn't put absolute restrictions in place yet but they are definitely suggesting limiting gathering sizes and so on. Going to see what the legislature vote actually means and how the panic is going and go from there.
Sounds pretty final brother? Gotta be smart so better be safe than sorry. Damn I can’t believe I said that. Man getting old sure does change us.
ROEBLING ROAD SCHEDULED FOR 3/21-22/2020 WILL BE MOVED! With the advent of new recommendations on social distancing by the CDC as well as concern for our racing family and their families, our Officials and Corner Workers and Track Staff we will not be running the Roebling Road Sportsman/National event March 21-22. As of this point we are working with the track to find another date later in the season. Once we know if that is possible we will then determine where to move the series points and contingencies. For those riders who have pre-entered we will move your entry to a future event of your choosing once we know when we can start racing again. At that point we will be in touch with each of you via email to see what you wish to do. We are of course extremely hopeful that things will calm down and the spread of the virus will slow or cease in time for our April Talladega event however as with every other business in the US right now things are up in the air. We apologize for the inconvenience to everyone and we hope you all stay safe and well through what is a very trying time for all of us. “This decision was not an easy one – our business is our customers and our Officials Corner Workers and Track Staff – we are all in this together and we all want to see this go away so we can get back to life as we know it.
