There will be plenty of action off track at Le Mans as well as on track. On Thursday, Marc VDS team boss Michael Bartholemy will give a press conference to discuss the allegations made against him by former team coordinator Marina Rossi, who took her concerns to team owner Marc van der Straten, and I will finally be able to publish the Marc VDS story I have been working on for the past week or so.

 

I believe the press conference was either canceled or postponed.

 

Wonder how that factors into the rumour that Suzuki abandoned the satellite team.

 

I'd bet a bunch, you wouldn't want to partner with an unstable team. Especially since the Suzuki bosses seem to be apprehensive about running a satellite team anyways. I'd be super shocked if the deal goes through.

 

Well, Dovi is staying with Ducati for two more years.

 

I think thats great for them both. Hope he got his payday.

Rossi could buy his ride and he'd still be making more than Dovi money. At least according to those forbes top paid athlete bullshit stories.

I couldn't imagine them signing him for another year. At least their bodywork and peg budget was reduced this year.

 

He has been better than Lowes, but that's gotta suck to be barely into the contract and have the boss tell you they're going with a different rider next year. Goes with the territory I suppose. Off to WSBK?

 

I haven't paid attention, did we decide where Bradley Smith is going next season? I'd like to see him in BSB if this MotoGP thing doesn't work out. Or MotoAmerica!
